About Me

Ever since I created my first newspaper in elementary school and spearheaded a column for restaurant reviews, I have known I wanted to be a writer.

That love for writing has now translated into a career as a journalist and content writer, where I get to cover my favorite topics: food, drink, health, and wellness. I first worked in the financial services industry for nine years, then pivoted and completed a Certificate of Journalism and Newswriting from New York University in 2022. During my time at NYU, I honed my skills for crafting profiles, features, news stories, and personal essays.

In my free time, you can find me at local coffee shops, farmers markets, and Trader Joe’s, trying new foods and perusing the latest seasonal items.

Work

I currently craft breaking news stories in the food and restaurant industry, cooking how-to’s, and ingredient deep dives for Tasting Table. I also write engaging, medical research-based, SEO-optimized articles for Curology, a personalized skincare brand. Check out a few of my articles below!

Previously, I wrote research articles for scientific journals (you can find an example here!) and created social media content as an intern for a skincare-based podcast called Skincare Anarchy.
